Gratz on 3 full clears of 10ICC, and of 3/4 on 25 man - lets find the time to full clear it this week.

The guild bank is taking donations to help out with fish feasts and flasks. We're down 6,000 gold - hovering around 27,000, which is good - but we'll likely be burning through another 10k in the coming month.

DKP is being updated weekly - check it out. Decay is set at 15%.

We're still looking for a full-time Rogue and perhaps a healer.

Listen up, folks! We've got some new changes to the guild ranks that are now active and running, and we need everyone on board with this new system. The ranking order is now as follows:

Old rank -> New Rank
King -> King of Cakes
Queen -> Queen of Tarts
High Officers -> Baker's Circle
Warlords -> PIE Fighters
NEW RANK -> Main Course
Member -> Cookies
Whelp -> Creampuff

I've taken special note to highlight the important part of this new change. With the coming of Icecrown Citadel, we are bringing back the "raider" rank, which is being represented by the Main Course rank. The idea here is that only one toon per person can be designated as their raiding main, and all other alts will remain at the Cookies rank. Main Course ranked toons will have priority when sign ups for raids are taken.

By default, all non-officer characters will remain at the Cookie (Alt) rank. In order to have your main toon promoted to the Main Course rank, you MUST POST IN THE STICKIED FORUM THREAD. This is the ONLY way to get this change in rank. If you ask in-game, you will be told to post on the forum, plain and simple.

In addition to the change in ranks, we will be bringing back the EPGP system for DKP tracking once Icecorwn Citadel drops. We feel this system was fair through Ulduar progression, and will start fresh with it when the new patch comes. The stickied forum thread titled "DKP" has all the information you should want to know about the EPGP system, back from when we started using it in Ulduar.

Hey everyone! In case you might have missed it in the GMotD online, we are changing how we handle raid attendance. In the past, we just spammed invites through the in-game calendar, but that reached the point of being messy and unreliable due to the size of the guild.

From now on, all raids will be posted on the in-game calendar, and you must go there and sign yourself up for the raid. There will no longer be invites sent out for guild 25-man raids. However, we still expect that if you sign up for a raid, that you show up. We do understand that real life happens, and if it does, please try your best to notify someone in-game or through the forums here.


In other raid news, we will be starting to muster our forces to tackle the Trial of the Grand Crusader! That's right, we're going to try heroic. The first attempt will be this Sunday, 10/25 at 6pm server. Thereafter, we will be scheduling further ToGC25 runs to immediately follow the guild ToC25 runs each week. If you really want to see the challenges of hard modes, sign up and join in!

After a rough Wednesday with Anub we roll into TOC25 refreshed and 1 Shot him. Then we head on over to check on our old dwarven buddies hanging out in Uld, before you know it Thorim started talking some crap, so we had to finally show him who's boss. Needless to say he submitted and now we are left with this sweet postcard.




Oh and not to be left out grats on the togc10 group for getting Jarraxus down this week also.
